a bookshelf sinks into the sand
& a language learned & forgot,
in turn, is studied once again
it's a shocking bit of footage
viewed from a shitty TV screen

how you doing? on 2003-10-20

Boss seems to think my life is a soap opera. I never thought of that because I never watch soap operas. Maybe thats why.

Even though, it made me a little edgy yesterday when I asked Jules what she and her Mom talked about. It wasn't exactly about me. Thank God.

But then again, you know, you wish somebody would talk about you, sometimes.

And then she had to talk about virginity. Can we not leave any stone unturned? I swear she was going to say, "How's your virgin doing?"

Doing just fine, I kept imagining a nymph of some kind whispering in my ear. Giggling, only I could never make out what was being said.

Of course, I got other things to worry about at the moment, like community service. I got to meet the library director today. Why? I don't know.

But if Jules is so busy with the play and what not, well, why not.

Get this sucker over, I'm thinking. And I'll have all the time in the world to think about my virgin in the quietness of the library. Of course, she's not so innocent anymore. She's got ideas and frankly, I kind of like them, but don't see anything happening anytime soon. Not this week, anyway. Probably not the next, either.

Don't guess that would cut it on the WB.
