more than just black birds on 2004-06-11

Hopefully, I'm going to be in charge of grilling tonight. Ok, so maybe I'm not the best yet. Thats why I need practice.

So maybe I burned the chicken to a charred black. I'm just not that good with hot coals I guess. What can I say? I like to cook fast.

But if you're a guy, you grill, you know.

Yeah, Jules was not too pleased. But I'm cooking again. How am I gonna learn if I don't. And she's way too tired to cook. She looks uh, well, not really happy. So I'm trying to do the best I can, you know.

Freaky thing that happened...

While I was in the back yard trying to cook, Jule's cat jumped up and caught this black bird. She killed it right on the spot. Started tearing out feathers and eatting it like she was a lion or something. And the birds. The birds went crazy in the tree. This awful haunting noise. Then there was all this stuff falling out of the tree like they were trying to hit her in the head with sticks or something. Man, I had no idea her cat could do stuff like. Didn't know the birds could act so freak'n scary, either. I thought they might actually try to attack her, but no. I guess they knew better. She's been action so superior since then. What a cat.

Well, looks like two biggys have left us. Ronald Reagan, who I don't remember all that much, but my Mom had news clippings about him in my baby book for some reason. Something about the Reagan expansion at Ft. Drum, New York. We used to live there when I was a baby, but I don't remember it at all. Anyway, no mail today because of his funeral.

Then Ray Charles. Man, what a shock. He's was one of the best, you know. He inspired young and old with his songs. Really, a cool old musician.

i'm not that guy
