earth day on 2007-04-25

Still tired. I think its my allergies still. But I keep going. Somehow.

Its been raining too. More than I've seen in a long time. Just think of all those green lawns to mow.

Didn't do much for Earth day. You know, I'm beginning to feel really guilty when that day comes around now. I remember when I was a kid it was free concerts and a day at the park with a picnic.

What have you done for the earth, lately?

Honestly, I hate recyling, but I do. It doesn't help much when the recyling pickup won't pick up glass anymore.

So I try not to buy all the plastic stuff. And the glass stuff I do pick up drinks in, I try to use that glass for something else.

I thrift a lot. Becca likes thrifting. And with gas prices the way they are, I really never go anywhere except to work and back.

I was listening on the news how they are going to start taxing you when you drive in conjested areas which is like, how can they do they? But I guess the government can.

Sorry to be such a downer.
